“Dub Harder Than Steel” is both a ‘holy grail’ record and also an historical treasure. Earthquake Studio, (later, just ‘Earthquake’), made some of the most underground, hardcore UK apocalyptic dub music ever recorded. The duo of Winston Dread and Tony TNT Roots later parted ways with TNT Roots releasing under his own name. Collectively they put out close to 70 albums, most on CD or CDR, but this was the first and thankfully released on vinyl. The original album was released on a very limited run in 12” sleeves with photocopies on 8.5×11 paper glued on as covers. If you can’t tell by this writing, Brotherly Dubs is a huge fan!
